Multidisciplinary artist born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, 1989. Interested in the intersection between Art, Science and technology. With her work she shows what is happening within science in this era. She believes art is a tool in order to raise important matters like science, biology and technology through art. Art is an instrument to give science a platform in order to be talked, discussed and understand in a street level.

She currently resides between Madrid, Ecuador and Miami. Her projects were in Milan Design week and Dutch design week and the Netherlands in 2019 and 2020 respectively. Dia began her studies at the School of Visual Arts in New York (2014) and has a master's degree in Materials Futures at Central Saint Martins in London (2019). In 2021 she has her first solo show with Proyecto N.A.S.A.L in Guayaquil followed by a collaboration between Nolugar (Quito) and N.A.S.A.L in which her solo travels to the capital of Ecuador. Her work is selected for the week of art in Mexico and presented in the collective exhibition "Saludos Amigos" organized by N.A.S.A.L. Part of a collective parallel show in the Cuenca Bienal called “Un Jardin Nuestro” curated by Paulina Leon in “El museo de los metales de Cuenca”. 2022 Participates in Arco Madrid and Parc Lima with Ponce and Robles where she also has her first Solo show in Europe.
